Go 4 It! Taking charge of your future!

My name is Katie Leckey.  I am best known online for writing the Holiday GrandPlan and the Cleaning GrandPlan.  My husband and I have spent over half of the last thirty years with one or the other of us unemployed either because of the economy or because we wanted one of us home with our children.  We spent a lot of time talking with older family members and neighbors about how they survived the depression, the war and other hard times.  Out of this research I have written Thriving Through Unemployment.  I have also compiled a series of my essays into Recycled Living available at www.leckeys.com/recycledliving.html, and am finishing Part II of Thriving Through Unemployement in the next month.  Some time in the next few months the Recipe Book will be available as a supplement.

My children are all raised, the youngest turned 18 this spring.  They are all people I am proud to know.  My grandchildren are smart and fun to be around.  I have enough and am happy with my life.
